"Banknote and Postage Museum" Kita-ku Tip by salisbury3933

This is a moderately interesting and free museum near Oji station.

For non-Japanese speakers there is not a great deal of commentary, but I found the displays on note technology quite interesting, i.e magnifying a banknote to see exactly how much detail there is to avoid counterfeiting.

Closed Mondays.

Address: 1-6-1 Oji, Kita-ku, Tokyo
Directions: 3 minutes walk from Oji on JR Keihin Tohoku and Subway Nanboku lines.
Phone: 03-5390-5194
