"Misconduct Tavern - Center City" Philadelphia Nightlife Tip by Ewingjr98

Misconduct Tavern is one of dozens of small neighborhood bars in the area of downtown Philadelphia around Rittenhouse Square. This one has a distinct blue awning, a few outdoor tables, a long bar, about a dozen TVs, and a great selection of beer.

We stopped in one Sunday afternoon to catch some football. While most TVs showed the Eagles losing again, they do have NFL Sunday Ticket, so we got to watch a few good games, too. We were able to get seats for a group of about 7 of us back in the corner. A few of us had some bar food like hot dogs, but most of us just had beer. I had a nice, big Weihenstephan Hefeweissen wheat beer.

They have about 12 beers on tap, most microbrews from companies like North Coast, Sly Fox, Yards, Victory, an Founders. They also have about 100 other beers in bottles, so they are sure to have something for almost anyone. Their food menu, on the other hand, is pretty basic, with a small selection of appetizers, burgers, and sandwiches.
