"Vienna : Dont miss Palais Liechtenstein" Top 5 Page for this destination Austria Off The Beaten Path Tip by globetrott
Austria Off The Beaten Path: 171 reviews and 386 photos
This is one of the most beautiful palaces that you will be able to visit in Vienna and it also shows the most beautiful royal carriage in Vienna, dont miss it !
Palais Liechtenstein in Vienna is a lot larger than the royal palace of the family in Vaduz/Liechtenstein and here in Vienna you will also see most of the treasures of this ancient noble austrian family von Liechtenstein.
Inside the entrancehall you are allowed to take photos but upstairs it is forbidden. The golden carriage in my main photo is standing in that entrancehall and it was used for a diplomatic mission, when Prince Johann Adam Andreas traveled with it to Paris.
