"STRAZNICE" Uhersky Brod Off The Beaten Path Tip by balhannah

Straznice is located 36kms from Uhersky Brod. This Town was another surprise, as we entered it through large medieval walls and gates.
It was in the 16th century when they were in danger of the Turk's, that the rampart's and a moat surrounding the whole Town were built. Two gates were built with towers and bastions. Both the gates have been preserved only on the Bastion side.
