Tau Ben Nghe: "Saigon River Floating Restaurant" Ho Chi Minh City Restaurant Tip by schurman23

We ordered seafood spring rolls and yangzhou fried rice and chicken hot pot. The spring rolls were awesome and one thing good with this restaurant is they give a very generous serving. We had eaten too much of the spring rolls and fried rice when the hot pot was served. We were not expecting the very large serving of hot pot so we ended up filling our stomachs to our hearts content. It got to a point when we just cant take some more, so we just had some food wrapped for take home. But just as were about to relax after the very heavy meal, the entertainment started while the restaurant is slowly moving through the saigon river. The fire dancer and hula hooper was just amazing. I hope I can post the video here in VT so you can see them.

Favorite Dish: Seafood spring rolls have the distinct taste of crab, shrimp and fish. You can taste them all at the same time and it blends quite well in your palate. Its best served when hot. But still delicious even when its cold (I brought some on our bus travel to Cambodia the next morning).
