A major business district located in south east London and is one of two main financial centres (the other one being in City of London) and has many of the country's tallest buildings such as One Canada Square (the tallest building), One West Quay and 25 Cabot Square.

Canary Wharf is situated in West India Docks which was once part of the world's busiest port and construction, as part of a major office development, began in 1988 and part of The Docklands regeneration.

As well as offices, Canary Wharf offers restaurants, bars and shops and there are good transport links to the rest of London.
