  • squaw flats feels like home 2 me - Canyonlands National Park

this is by far my faviort campground of the canyonlands park, its not a place to stay if you are trying to get away from people but lets be real its a nationl park so traffic is going to happen, its a perfect base camp! verry intament and the campsties are nicely space out,, just a stones throw away from some really great hikeing, there are little overhangs at most of the campsites, and if you climb on top of these you can see the beauty of this park, i spent more time above my campstie than in it, fires are permitted and the bathrooms are clean and comphy, there is a park store 4 miles away with food and ice and gas, but call ahead for hours of operation, this place is mindblowing and if your wanting to grt the full canyon lands expereance that squaw flat is a must see, i will be back 4sho!! loved it,

Unique Qualities: like i said the bath rooms are verry clean and offer alot more than your average campground, there is a senic drive access right from the camp, hikeing trails, get a map exsplore this amazing park, the drive in is breathtaking and stop at newspaper rock ans see one of the biggest cosentrations of rock art around , amazing minblowing adventure, wildlife is not a luxory bit a necesity for the human soul, this plae will leave a mark on you if you take it in and respect it
