A lesser known church in Siena, Chiesa di San Pietro a Ovile is located on the narrow street, via del Giglio. It was built in the 13th century in a Romanesque style, but was remodelled in the 16th century to the form we see today. It has a simple redbrick façade with a lunette above the door with faded frescoes. Its interior contains paintings by notable Sienese artists.
