"Paleis Noordeinde ? Palace Garden." The Hague Tourist Trap Tip by Jerelis
The Hague Tourist Traps: 18 reviews and 19 photos
During another visit to The Hague I visited the gardens on the opposite side of Paleis Noordeinde. It?s funny to witness that a lot of people do visit the palace and take a lot of pictures of the front fašade. But most of them do forget to visit the Paleistuin (Palace Garden), which are accessible to the public for walking. Within this scope it?s good to know that the palace does have two main appearances. The town facade dates from the 17th century and was built in a typical Dutch classical style. The park facade, also known as King's wing, dates from the 19th century.
Like I said, during an earlier visit I did go to the Paleistuin, which is a lovely garden, including the famous stables, the Royal House Archives and Fagel's Pavillion. If you want to go there just follow the Prinsestraat, which leads you north to Prinsessewal and the Paleistuin. Right here you can enjoy some peace and quiet within the city of The Hague.
Unique Suggestions: Don't forget to visit the garden!
Noordeinde 68, 2514 GL The Hague.
It?s located in center of The Hague in between the Peace Palace Library and the Binnenhof.
