El Jacal is a small chain restaurant, so you may find one or two other locations in town, but the one on the Malicon is the main restaurant. There is a rather large indoor dining area and if the weather is nice, a large outdoor patio too. The menu is only in Spanish and the staff only speak Spanish, but the menu is not overly complicated and has a few pictures.

Favorite Dish: The place serves tacos, tacos and more tacos. The standard size for the flour tortilla is about 15cm/6". The corn tortilla tacos are about as large as the palm of your hand. A normal appetite would be about two regular tacos or if you're hungry, then try the hipertaco.

The hipertacos on the other hand are the size of the entire plate, possibly the largest I've seen.

There are a few side options too. Try the melted cheese!
