"The Roman Forum." downtown Tip by Askla

downtown, Plovdiv: 3 reviews and 4 photos

In Roman times the Forum was surrounded by shops and public buildings and was the centre of the town. It was built during the reign of emperor Vespasian around the turn of 1st and 2nd centuries.
When I visited, parts of it was used as a parking lot....personally I don't like that way to use old Roman remainings.

Directions: At the eastern side of the main post office.
