There is quite a nice drive from Yandina to Bli Bli which takes you to a delightful picnic spot called Dunethin Rock right on the banks of the river.
You can do this drive from Maroochydore/Mooloolaba as well

In the Strawberry season you will find the McMartins Strawberry farm open for business and serving cups of tea. The homemade strawberry ice cream is famous.

Once you arrive at Bli Bli...and do not miss Bli Bli Castle(I think it is called Sunshine Castle now).... there is a road to Nambour or you can continue on to Maroochydore and other great beaches. It is easy to find Buderim as well from Bli Bli! Just drive along the front and watch for the sign.

If you wish to travel from the Bli Bli end back to Yandina take Willis road and watch for the signs.
