"A Perfect People's Pizza" Pizza Tip by SOLODANCER

A great pizza parlor in NYC

I should actually rename the above as Perfect New Yorkers' Pizza as this pizza place seems to have found the perfect recipe - a marriage of perfect blending of just the right amount of sauce and cheese topping on it and the crust a divine compromise between easy chewiness and ideal dough which is neither thick nor too thin. And as pizza in NYC goes, one can have alternative toppings of several varities such as standard pepperoni, ham, mushroom, etc...to go with the slice or if one prefers - an entire pie.

The place is Joe's Pizza on 7 Carmine Street in the West Village. It's a tiny place where they have provided only a couple of counters and a single high standing round table for customers to enjoy their pizza inside. Most people simply take their slice(s) outside and sit at one of the benches at Father Demo Square right across the pizza joint or go ahead take it with them elsewhere. Now there are in NYC many pizza parlors of the same name but none serves a perfect pizza as Joe's Pizza in the West Village which has to this day become sort of the accepted standard in so far as good straighforward pizza that it has to be. And because the price is right (at this writing only $2.75 a slice) is what makes this place a bargain thus People's pizzaria.

Strange very sexy things happen in NYC Kristi, very true especially to those whose urges wishes dreams are totally open and naked to willed phenomenon. And these phenomena are here strewn all over - especially in the downtown scene!
