Hadramawt Restaurant: "Yummylicious Middle East Dish!" Hadramawt Tip by lukluk_wal_marjan

Hadramawt, Kuala Lumpur: 1 reviews and 0 photos

Whenever I have cravings for good Middle East / Arab food; i will be heading to this restaurant located at Chulan Square.

No worries if you not sure where this is since it is just a bit further up of the main road opposite Pavillion Shopping Complex. The resto is the end lot of the many eateries there.

Its a double story air-conditioned resto with the balcony open-up for those 'Shisha' smokers. Praying room for Muslims is available on the 2nd floor.

The one & only VIP room can accomodate 12 to 15 people comfortably.

Found out from their website that they have opened a branch in Johor Bharu. Please please please take note not to confuse this resto with another reto carrying Wadi Hadramawt name. It is NOT of the same company.

Favorite Dish: Lamb Haneeth - normally serve with rice but you can opt to eat with bread. Dont really judge this dish by it looks. First time we order it, it doesnt really look appetizing but once you bite into its tender juicy meat - u will keep coming back for it!

The lamb is wrapped in aluminium foil with some herbs and slowly cooked under charcoal stove - at least that what was explained in the 20 pages menu booklet -

Grilled meat pieces is also nice - eat it with the Arabic bread complete with its Garlic Sauce.

Dont forget to balance your diet with their choices of Salad. I opted for the Arabic salad of course.

To wash down the food - opt for Arabic Tea which has been boiled with fresh mint. Nice & soothing. It is either serve in a mug or a teapot with small glass for individual serving
