The "Pick & Eat" salad station in the buffet is something to look forward. Not just because it is something unusual, but also because you get to taste what you actually saw in their vegetable gardens - the lettuce, the tomato, etc. How good is that? ;o)

My hubby loved their native fried chicken and the fruits are super sweet. Just cant get enough... ;o)

The restaurant has glass walls that give diners an ambiance of outdoor dining.

Facts About Eden:
A mountain resort 3,000 feet above sea level, Eden Nature Park is 95% man-made! It is a great model of how we can re-create nature and rebuild a lost environment.

Discovered sometime in 1971, the resort used to be a logged-over area covered only by a blanket of wild grass. Its potential was, however, readily seen by the owners as the property provided an imposing view of Davao City and the Davao Gulf.

Not long after, terraces were carved out of the mountain slope, and thousands of pine tree seedlings were planted. As the pine trees grew, they provided canopies allowing other trees and plants to grow and creating a secondary forest. Today, there are over 100,000 pine trees spread throughout 80 hectares, providing a refreshing backdrop to the various attractions in Eden Nature Park.

We've been here several times already, who wouldn't by the way? It's only 1 1/2 hours drive from our place. This is one of our favorite "day tour" destinations. If Manila has Tagaytay, Davao has Eden - the compact version. heheheh!

It's a perfect place to go whenever we want to see, feel and eat fresh! The scent of pine tress, the beautiful blooms in the gardens, the unmindful animals and the delectable foods - there are just some of the things that keep us coming back.

There is a an affordable yet enjoyable way to discover more about Eden without having to stay overnight. Eden offers Day Tour Packages that you may choose from according to your mood, budget or preference.

Day tour w/ buffet lunch - Php 500/adult; Php 280/child
Day tour w/ plated snack - Php 180/adult; Php 150/child
