"Tobu Museum" Mukojima and Oshiage Tip by salisbury3933

Mukojima and Oshiage, Tokyo: 1 reviews and 2 photos

The Tobu Railway company has been in existence for a long time now, and this museum showcases a lot of their old trains and the odd bus as well.

Unfortunately there is zero English language commentary for non speakers of Japanese, but it is interesting enough, and entry is only 200 yen.

Closed on Mondays.

It is not as good as the railway museum in Omiya, but is still well worth a visit. My 17 month year old son loved the place, so good for kids too.

Directions: 1 minute from Higashi Mukojima station on the Tobu Isesaki line. Only a handful of stops from Asakusa.
