Located in the heart of the medieval city, it is the best place for sightseeing you can imagine. It is no more than 10 minutes on foot to reach towers Guaita and Chesta ( www.museidistato.sm ), though all the time climbing the mountain:) There are lots of all kind the restaurants and shops around. Very close to the cable car station (http://www.aass.sm/default.asp?id=1006), with the stunning views of the surrounding area. From this station it is easy to descend into the Borgo Maggiore to walk there and then by the same way to return back to San Marino. The only negative - if you with your luggage climb up from the bus stop will be difficult. However you can order a taxi, we did that on the way back. It cost 12 Euros from the hotel to the station from which buses depart to Rimini (http://www.bus.it/benedettini/autolinee.htm or http://www.bonellibus.it/portale/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=79&Itemid=55).
Located in a historic building, many rooms offer a spectacular view from a window. From my room I could admire the Chesta tower and medieval walls. Rooms are perfectly clean and comfortable, with hardwood floors, nice furniture and quality shower. The room also had an electronic safe, lacking only, perhaps, tea accessories, but it is hardly can found in Italy, in 9 hotels I visited in this country, I met only once a teapot . So I will not dwell on this particular attention, especially as a breakfast in the hotel is above all praise, perhaps, best of all those 9 Italian hotels :) And a great coffee, which will be cooked for you.
The hotel staffs are extremely polite and attentive; I want to mention their goodwill and willingness to help.
Rooms have a free Wi-Fi, just ask for a password on reception.
