  Typical Engine room
by mehulraj

Be cautious when entering engine room,
"mind your head" and "watch ur steps" Its old ship with old engine. And bring ear plug too because if guide will ask you do u want me to start engine??Actually he will not start engine but some compressor in engine room, thats the sound I like it but for visitor its may be annoying."

Its museum thats the reason they tried to keep everything neat and tidy but I am sure when this engine room would have been actually in service might have been in better shape.Only one big diesel engine which is used for propulsion as well as electricity for vessel.

And the bus-bar from where power comes from Diesel Engine is very ancient. But I am sure those sailor were brave as hell.As I was walking around even I felt working condition is very demanding. Its not for faint hearted people.
