Perfectly located hotel if one wanna stay close to the beach. Sector 33 is located right outside the hotel, and with a room with the right view it's beach view all day long.
The National Hotel is a three star hotel with a classic design. Good service at the reception and a quick check in. I had booked a single room, and the least one can say is that it was for one person. One of the smallest hotel rooms I've ever seen.
Great and hard bed, but then not much more space. A small desk, a mini tv (that didn't work) and a small bathroom. Some good information/commercial about Rimini was placed on the desk and the minibar had both water and soda.

Slept incredibly good though and wasn't disturbed much by the sound from the street outside. Was just to draw down the protector over the window and no sounds at all came through.

Breakfast was included in the room fee. As most of the time in Italy it wasn't much to enjoy though, although I have to admit I enjoyed all the sweets with chocolate. Nice service with waiters going around and serving coffee in all different styles.

On the front side of the hotel is a small swimming pool with an extra jacuzzi pool. Very nice.
On the same side is also the main beach street, with plenty of shops and restaurants and pubs around. I was in Rimini in the beginning of september, so the high season was over. Can imagine it's a great party city though in August.

In short a very nice hotel, although the room for sure could have been bigger.

Unique Qualities: Every room has a balcony. Great view over the beach if you're on the right side.

Address: Via Americo Vespucci 42, Rimini, Emilia-Romagna, 47900, Italy
Comparison: more expensive than average
Directions: Right next to the beach, sector 33. 10-15 minutes walk from the Central station.
Price: US$80-120
