Soave, a small walled medieval villages at the feet of the hills, east from Verona, is still an off the beaten path for most of the tourists.
It deserves more.
Its wonderful walls still intact surround its medieval center all around, from the plain to the top of the hill. The Castle, the old captain palace are all nice buildings to see.

But its magic is made by the walls and by the position.... all around vineyardds...
yes, beacause Soave is the were the famous white wine comes from!

You will find "cantine" (wine producers) even at the center of the village.
TAke a look at the few pictures I made, or google search for images of "soave" to have an idea..

To reach it, exit the A4 highway from Verona in direction of Venice at the Soave/San Bonifacio exit. The Village is 4 kms from the exit.
Buses from Verona, too, or trains to the nearby town of San Bonifacio

Sounds nice, we may drop over there to try some of the wine and wander the village center. Thanks for sharing.

Okay, again no problem. We will just have to sit and enjoy the vino till the early morning, that way she will not have to drive at night ^O^
