"My favorite park in Cardiff" Roath Park Tip by Dee22

Roath Park is my favorite park in Cardiff and one of my favorite parks in the world. It is extremely beautiful! A perfect place to go for a walk and just relax. It just got it all! A big lake housing a ton of swans and other birds such as geese. It has a large paved pedestrian path around the lake and under the trees - perfect for walking, running or rollerblading as I did several times when I lived in Cardiff. Fishing is possible as well (with the right license) or you can go rowing or take the boat tour. In the middle of the park you'll find a recreational area including a huge playground. In the opposite end from the lake you'll find lovely flowers gardens in the right season. That is also were you'll the big greenouse housing the Conservatory where you for a small fee can have a walk around the "jungle atmopshere" and see a lot of exotic plants and trees or feed the huge goldfish in the pond.

Standing in the middle of the park overlooking the lake - notice the welsh hills in the horizon over the treetops. I love this park!
