In 1867 The Victoria Bridge on Trinity st. was built in celebration of Queen Victoria.The design of the bridge is typical of this era.The River Tame flows under the Bridge and the Bridge stands next to the Stalybridge War memorial.The designers were Henry Bayley and son and the bridge was made at the Albion Iron Works in Miles Platting,Manchester.
