The Cathedral Church of St Marie is the Catholic Cathedral in Sheffield. It was designed by Sheffield architect Matthew Hadfield, and was first opened in 1850. The building became a cathedral in 1980. The building has some wonderful stain glass windows and some interesting tombs.

Entry is free and it is very calm and peaceful inside, despite being right in the centre of the city.

Beautiful and well worth a visit.
