City House is by far one of the top restaurants in Nashville for the value. With a contemporary, yet relaxed atmosphere, the chef offer unique options for various palates. Reviews peg it as an Italian restaurant, but I would beg to differ. The menu changes nightly, and offers yummy appetizers such as the Frico: Montasio Cheese, Potato (my favorite) house Cured Bresaola, Lemon Parsley Pesto, Pecorino
Octopus, Bread Crumbs.

Dinner varies between usually a pork dish, homemade pasta, or fish, all made with fresh ingredients that are in season. If you are undecided, go for the fresh wood fired pizza that is so fresh, and unique, you won't feel guilty for eating because it tastes divine.

Save room for dessert. If they have the lemon poppy seed pound cake with fresh (daily made) gelato, order this. All desserts I have had are excellent.

Favorite Dish: Appetizer: The Frico
Dinner: The Margherita Pizza with fresh basil or Gnocchi with fresh vegetables pan fried.
Dessert: Lemon poppy seed pound cake with fresh gelato.
