This is a great restaurant situated in the central part of the relatively small Serbian town Smederevska Palanka and working everyday from 7 a.m. in the morning till 11 p.m in the evening or till the last guest leaves. As I understood it changed recently its owners and was renovated. The venue is not very big - it has around 50-60 seats inside and 30-40 seats in their summer garden where actually you are sitting under the shadow of the maple that gave the name to the restaurant. I do like its authentic atmosphere - you do feel great when sitting on the wooden tables and chairs/benche and listening to Serbian music. It is advertised as a restaurant serving home cuisine and serves the famous traditional Serbian dishes , so if you are into meat - this is your place. You HAVE to try their vesalica and pljeskavica with side dishes, their chicken fillet with sauce (the so-called pilece belo) is also very tasty! I enjoyed also tasting some local beers like Lav and BG! You could park your car on the street in front of the restaurant. The prices are a little bit higher than in other restaurants in Smederevska Palanka, but still affordable - for a dinner of 3 adults and 2 kids we paid 3170 dinars or around 31 Euros!

Favorite Dish: My favourite is vesalica - great pork meat! It costs 480 dinars (less than 5 Euros) and is really so damn tasty!!
