Ty Newydd: "Cheerful & Cheap" Porthmadog Hotel Tip by ohmaid

Porthmadog Hotels: 1 reviews and 0 photos

Stayed 2 nights with Mrs Otty at the Ty Newydd in Tremadog. The welcome was warm, as was the service. Rooms were clean and tidy, with the quirkiness of being sloped, in EVERY angle but that added to the charm. Breakfast was made fresh to order nad it was very hearty, setting you up for the day in the hills. Close by (around 35 metres) was the village square of tremadog, with its 3 pubs (All serving food), a bistro, a fish shop and a spare, so you want for nothing. An excellent base to explore the surrounding attractions, with an "Olde Worlde" charm.

Unique Qualities: Sloping floors in the upper levels.

Address: Dublin Street, Tremadog.
Price Comparison: less expensive than average
Directions: From the "centre" of tremadog, turn right, just past "The Madoc Pub", on the right, is large white house which is "Ty Newydd"
