"VISIT THE TEXAS RANGERS MUSEUM WACO" Texas Things to Do Tip by DennyP
Texas Things to Do: 295 reviews and 712 photos
While visiting a friend in Dallas I was offered a day out to visit The Texas Rangers Museum and Hall of Fame in Waco. which I immediately agreed to...This was a really hot Texas summers day and I must say being used to the heat I found the temperature really oppressive. .
The Texas Rangers Museum is dedicated to what used to be the most feared law enforcement agency in the country and still is I guess....Although not a big Museum there is enough armoury in here to start a world war...I have never seen so many Colt 45's the trademak weapon of the Texas Rangers along with the many and varied rifles especially the famous Winchester lever action..some of these weapons on display have their origins in early Spanish Mexico conflicts mostly confiscated in the over 180 year history of the Texas Rangers service to the public of Texas..The Texas Rangers are prominent in their stetson hats and colt 45's.
