One Monday evening in May 2011 we arrived at around 18:30 h in Prizren after a long bus trip from Ohrid in Macedonia. We hadn't booked any accommodation in advance, but as we had read the "In Your Pocket – Prizren" guide we cleary knew where to go.

The guesthouse Oltas Pension was our first choice and we easily found it after a 20 minutes walk from the bus station. They have 7 rooms; 4 of which are doubles. Free WiFi Internet is available in the building.

The young receptionist spoke good English and offered us a double room with breakfast for 35 Euro per night. Our room was quite small but included a second room with a fridge and some possibilities to hang our clothes. The bathroom was equipped with a leaking water heater. Everything was a bit dated, but the place had its own charm, so that we even extended our stay from 2 to 3 nights.

Breakfast consisted of an egg, a banana and a selection of bread with cheese, and jam. We once got in contact with the lady of the guesthouse who speaks fluent German.

Directions:
The Guesthouse Oltas Pension is located on a quiet residential street in the very heart of Prizren's city centre. It can be found just between the main catholic church Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour and the main square Sheshi Shadervan. The Hotel Centrum is situated in the same street.
