Favorite thing: Prizren is a city of mosques. I can't remember having seen a town with as many mosques as Prizren.

The Sinan Pasha Mosque in the historic old town is probably Prizren's most famous mosque. This and some more are listed in the "Things to do" section of my Prizren page.

Other mosques, which we came across when wandering through the streets of Prizren included the 18th century Terzi Memi Mosque. It can be found in the southern part of the town near the busy street Ismet Jashari Kumanova.

The Iljaz Kuka Mosque was completed in 1792. It stands near the northern end of the street Iliaz Kuka on the left side of the Lumbardhi River.

One of the oldest mosques in Kosovo is The Myderiz Ali Efendi Mosque, which was constructed between 1543 and 1581. It is located on the street Papa Gjon Pali, just north of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour.
