"Plac Bohaterow Getta" Podgorze District - Former Jewish Ghetto Tip by Skibbe


This is where Jews were loaded onto the trains that would take them to the Nazi death camps. The victims had to discard most of the items they brought to the station. The memorial here is 70 empty chairs representing those that the owners would leave behind and never see or use again.
