This is a hilly area behind the palace and presidential office. There are many individual boutiques and cafes. Many of the shop fronts are creatively set and there are many photography opportunities.
More interesting is the streets behind Samcheongdong-gil on the slope towards the Presidential Office. The cafes have pretty exteriors and you can find good deals at some of the boutiques.
