Berlin Historical Museum (Deutsches Historisches Museum in German) is located in Zeughaus which was an old arsenal building along the popular Unter den Linden in downtown Berlin. Zeughaus was designed by Johann Arnold Nering in baroque style of architecture and was constructed in the late 17th century to use as an artillery arsenal. It was severely damaged during World War II and rebuilt later. It is the oldest structure along Unter den Linden.
Today it is home to Berlin Historical Museum with three levels of exhibition spaces covering a total area of approximately 10,000 square meters. Opening hours to the museum are between 10.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. daily. Entrance fee to the museum is 6.00 euros per adult.
