The Mather Memorial Parkway runs along the Northeast corner of the park, then joins Washington Highway 123 which continues South to the Ohanapecosh Visitors Center and the Southeast corner of the park. The road is open from May to November depending on the weather. There are several scenic pullouts and trailheads along the road. Although this route is on National Park Service Property it is free to drive down this route. You do not have to pay the park entrance fee until you turn down Sunrise Road or Stevens Canyon Road.
