"Torre Civica" Lovere Things to Do Tip by Gillybob
Lovere Things to Do: 6 reviews and 17 photos
Located in Pazza Vittorio Emanuele, the Torre Civica is the civic bell tower of Lovere.
Many of the old paintings on the tower have been lost with age but a lion of St Mark is still clearly visible.
The tower is part of the remaining evidence of a 12th Century castle, built by the Celeri family. Lovere still has ramparts from its period as a medieval fortified town.
Address: Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, LOVERE
Directions: Clearly signposted in the Old Town.
