If Rosemarie had not been sick, this would have been a wonderful stay. She can describe in detail the four walls of our hotel room.
The room had a desk and table as well as two large beds which were comfortable.
There was no fridge, like 99% of American hotels, nor was there facilities to make a cuppa, again like most American hotels. You could, however, catch the lift downstairs and have a cuppa out of a machine down there. Very inconvenient.
Room was clean and serviced regularly.
T.V. with plenty of channels and internet access is free which was much appreciated.
My only real complaint was with the staff. Some were excellent, others not so. It was apparent that some of the staff hadn't been there long and local knowledge wasn't that good with some of the staff but others who apparently had been there for a while were very competent.
The attitude of some of the staff could have been more congenial however.
Breakfast was adequate in the neat little dining room and service was prompt.
Unique Qualities: Unlike others, I didn't find the rooms too small. One thing the others have failed to mention is that there is a walk in room where you can put all your luggage and hang it too. This is the main thing that takes away room wherever we stay, i.e. clothes and stuff strewn everywhere. Here we had somewhere to store it.
