Bus 1 (direction Mompiano) will take you from the railway station to Brescia's historical heart. You can find bus routes, timetables and info (in Italian) on the link below.

Cross the road directly opposite the railway station and you will find the bus stop. You can buy tickets from the Tabacchi by the bus stop too.

Remember to validate your ticket as soon as you board, using the yellow machine on the bus!

You can catch the bus back from Piazza Martiri di Belfiore (see photo for bus stop) be be careful...the bus in this direction doesn't stop outside the railway station but at the bus station next to it. You may, as I did, miss your stop because of this. It's not the end of the world (I just got off at the next stop and had a longish walk back) but it is something worth checking for.
