Museum shop, RAF museum: "Buy now while stocks last" Hendon Shopping Tip by TheLongTone

Hendon Shopping: 1 reviews and 0 photos

This is rather a good shop as museum shops go. The usual selection of souvenir bits & bobs, model aircraft both for display and flying, and a good bookshop with a small seconhand section where I coul easily have lost sixty or so pounds of excess cash had I had it. And pick and mix sweets. What is not to like?

Hot deal of the moment are genuine titanium rivets from the TSR 2, a steal at 50p, around a third of the cost of manufacture. Each engraved with the part number on the head, should you lose your till reciept (readily distiguisable forom the others scrunched up in yourbag by the RAF roundel on the back) should you need proof of provrnanc.
