This is a small forest surrounded by rice fields, next to the forest is Alas Kedaton Temple. On arrival you encounter many stalls selling souvenirs as well as food and drink. For a small fee you have the option of hiring a local guide, you can also by food to give to the monkeys.

On entering the temple area you will be surrounded by many monkeys running around, looking for food or just sitting still observing you. Beware one of them may try to snatch at your belongings or possibly jump on you. I walked round the outside of the temple and took a look in the forest. Here in the treetops were colonies of bats roosting.
