It is mostly for kids and a kid "active" theme where they can play and supposedly learn at the same time. It has brief history of the evolution of JAX, dinosaur era of monsters, information of humans and body parts, aquarium exhibit, and some other exhibits of little interest.

This is not much of a museum and it cost $10 just for the museum, which is a rip off. To get into the planetarium costs another $5, and those shows are Mon-Sat 1 & 4PM and Sunday at 4PM. The museum is open 10-5 Mon-Thursday and til 8PM Fri and Sunday 1-6.

Address: 1025 Museum Circle
Directions: This is on South Island at SAn Marco Station. The whole area was torn up around it for "renovation", but I suspect the museums theme was not nover well and vagrants hanging out in the area.
