Ostarija Peglez'n: "Good food in the very centre of Bled" Bled Restaurant Tip by go_with_uz

Bled Restaurants: 79 reviews and 92 photos

Ostarija Peglez'n is on the main road in Bled. I guess that in high season it might occur some trouble, but in our case there were not so many visitors both inside and on the terrace. The place has a nice traditional interior and efficient service. They have a good wine list, though a little bit expensive. As for their house wine, it's semi-dry which is too sweet to me.

Favorite Dish: Be carefull! The portion size in Bled is more than generous, so in this place it would be a good idea to share the main course. Try their scampi in buzzara sause, and do not miss the turbo. The turbo plate comes with roasted potato and grilled vegetable. They put it as a dish for two, but it's big enough to feed three adults. Try also their chivapchichi (small meat balls) with mustard and sweet pepper sauce, mixed fahjtas and finaly the "Trio" dessert which is a selection of panna cotta, chocolade mousse and spounge cake.

Price Comparison: about average
