I wished I had found this site when I was in San Francisco. Anyway, it shows the map of the F-Line Street Cars along with an interactive map that shows exactly where the Street Cars are along the route at any time.
The F-Line Street Cars run along the Embarcardero and then turns near the Ferry Building and then runs up Market Street to Castro Street.
You can use the Muni Pass on the street cars. Individual rides are $1.50 + a Free Transfer if within 90 minutes.
