Lansing Shopping: 5 reviews and 4 photos
I stumbled upon this while walking along the Grand River. It appears to be a farmer's market in downtown Lansing where local farmers and artisans come in to sell their goods throughout the week.
The sign on the door said that it is open Tuesday-Friday 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m and it seemed like there was free parking (although I walked there, so I can't say for certain).
There seemed to be a pretty large selection of goods, ranging from fruits and vegetables, to dairy products, to snacks and desserts, to hand-made crafts. It all seemed a bit expensive though, one booth was trying to sell milk at $4.50 for a half gallon... and you can get a whole gallon of milk at Meijer for $2.29.
Surprisingly, there was also a bar inside the building which served both food and drinks. And there was a small stage set up where some guy was playing guitar and singing into a microphone.
I didn't buy anything though, so I'll have to go back and check this out a bit closer to give a more detailed review.

as a kid, Lansing and GM were for me synonymous, will plan a Couch Surf in Lansing in the future, linked with visit to Hillsdale and Peoria= Not pReToria ;p-)))
