"An apartment hotel at gorgeous Sea Point!" Protea Hotel Riviera Resort Tip by sheherezad

It's more like a serviced apartment! I had a one bedroom apartment with a balcony, separate living room with an adjoining kitchenette with basic untensils/cutlery and coffee/tea making amenities. The staff were accommodating and friendly! And there are plenty of nice restaurants/eateries along Beach Road/road parallel to it (behind the hotel).

It was under renovation when I stayed and I could see why I got a special rate below the conference rate when I got there! I was upset by all the knocking going on during the day when I arrived terribly jet lagged and so didn't write a review! Otherwise it's nice! On hind sight, it was a lovely stay! :-)

Unique Qualities: It's on a fabulous location on sea point, right in front of the beach! :-) But there's a road between it and the beach that you have to cross! Beach side great for morning/afternoon walks on the gorgeous sea front!
