Hotel Joli: "The Friendliest Hotel in the EU" San Marino Hotel Tip by NewYorkese

They had to be the nicest and most accommodating hotel staff I have ever interacted with in all of my travels. I woke up late and they didn't break my balls about checking out late... which they could have, if they wanted to. They even offered me breakfast... which they didn't have to. They helped me get on the WiFi easily and the staff was patient with my rudimentary Italian, speaking to me slowly like I desperately requested. While the room and the hotel itself was nothing extraordinary, in it's decor or architecture, it was clean and pleasant and safe. I had a great rest, being that the room was so quiet, it could have doubled for a mausoleum or a nunnery.
All in all, I can't say enough good things about this small, family-run hotel in the oldest republic on the planet. They were so freakin' nice to me!
