If you want to buy Mozartkugeln for a souvenir, don't buy them in the expensive shops! There are many souvenir shops and also special Mozartkugel shops in the old town, especially in Getreidegasse, that tell you that they are the only ones who sell the "one and only original Mozartkugel". Well, I did not buy any this time because I am vegan, but from the time when I loved them I remember that, although there are minor differences, they are all simply delicious! So it is best to buy them in a usual supermarket. There is a small one on Linzer Gasse, but they are even cheaper further out of the centre in the usual supermarkets, for example Billa or Penny. They are only half of the price there but look as beautiful and are as delicious :-)
