The interior of the church is a little dark, but it looks so friendly due to the white stucco and the colourful paintings. To me, the stucco, made by the Italian Guiseppe Bassarino, was just overwhelming. I won't go into more details of architecture here as I simply do not have enough knowledge to understand what I read about it - but as I said, it is so beautiful. There are amazing ceiling frescoes and altarpieces. Much of it was destroyed by bombings in World War Two, but could be restored later after colourslides.

The organ is the biggest in Austria after the one of the Stephansdom in Vienna. It has 120 stops and about 10,000 pipes.

You can also see the crypt of the archbishop which was only discovered during the reconstruction in the 1950s.
