The Cross Keys: "Inn wanted by Watt Junior" Leeds Restaurant Tip by jonathanbarker

Leeds Restaurants: 168 reviews and 377 photos

A real ale pub, akin to European style bar, the beer we chose was from nearby Knaresborough, food is served, and there are wood fires to keep us warm. Staff very friendly.

In an historical district of Leeds city, this site of this pub used to overlook the engineering factory of steam engines for Railway and factory use.

James watt junior was so interested in finding out more about this (to him a rival) that he wanted to buy the original pub.

Favorite Dish: We just had some of the "Outlaw Wrangler" beer

Address: 107 Water street
Price Comparison: about average
Directions: On the road out of Leeds towards Holbeck
Price: less than US$10
Rating: 4
