County house - Megyehaza, was originally a bank and here are related symbolic mofives with flower, bees and beehives that come as an interesting, colorful addition to otherwise already very articulated, rich facade: see them below the roof of the building in third floor where they interexchange with windows. Also, this is in my opinion one of the most remarkable buildings in Pecs - with large triangular ground plan which makes it worth to explore all around its corners - make a walk to the side street (and if doors are open, why wouldn't you enter to its lobby with high ceiling). The house was built in 1898 - the year of construction is written in Roman numbers on a front facade, by tympanum.
Its roof expresses eyecatching colored pattern upon a middle part of the building (at front)and by the rounded corner at the side.
Third photo here shows the view from the behind of building and some interesting sights towards the square - along two side streets.
