Gralha Azul ( blue jay ).. State Bird of Parana and protected by Law.
many people believe, Gralha Azul picks the seed out of the pine- cones and planting them, the bird pouches the seed in his/her grob and plants it for a time of need in a manner humans could be proud of, just the right depth and neatly covered, when the time is right and the old Gralha has forgotten...the seeds start to sprout.and a new Pines Brasilensis... Pinhao or Pinheiro=Auracaria angustifiola is born.
