Restaurant Dendy: "For a nice evening out" The Hague Restaurant Tip by ATLC

I had a delightful dinner here and definitely recommend it.
A busy 'after work' place, a meeting point for friends, group dinners, dinners for two... this place appeals to a lot of people with a bar section and a restaurant section.
The kitchen is well organised enough to cater for all sorts of groups.
Where I was seated I could look into the kitchen all evening so I noted that.
Upstairs is a smoking lounge. Just so you know you're not banished outside.
Favorite Dish: The food is fresh and well made. Great (raw) beef tartare with a poached egg yolk and yummy truffle mayonaise. Excellent spicy pasta with fried dorade fillet and a tempura fried anchovy as garnish. To finish a hot gooey chocolate fondant cake with caramel and ice cream.
All that for 35 euro is not a bargain but definitely value for money.
Well presented and tasty also were the a la carte dishes. Entrees of lemon risotto and scampi or the Caesar salad. Mains of venison or duck breast. All was good.
